Jefferson Woods homeowners that own golf carts are required by Peachtree City Ordinance to pay an annual fee, as non-residents, to operate a cart on city paths. The current fee must be paid no later than January 31 each year. Please contact Peachtree City for more information.

In addition, Fayette County adopted an Ordinance 2014-13 requiring every owner of an electric or gas-powered motorized cart or low-speed motor vehicle that is operated over the designated streets, paved recreational paths or sidewalks of the unincorporated portion of the County must register the vehicle with the County. Jefferson Woods golf cart paths are currently maintained by Fayette County. Upon completion of the new golf cart path project, the maintenance of these paths will become the responsibility of our neighborhood. Please report any problems on these paths to Homelink, our management company.
